Leigh Wynne is a health equity specialist for Close the Gap, an initiative supported by Boston Scientific that is dedicated to reducing the inequities in health care as experienced mainly by women and minorities. Leigh is responsible for educating health care providers, community partners and the public about certain health risks and disease states while calling attention to existing disparities in care. She is also working on efforts to increase diversity in medical device clinical trials. Leigh has experience in planning and executing efforts that drive community engagement, public health initiatives, event management in addition to having a background in grant writing.

Leigh Wynne grew up in Natick, MA. She earned her BA in Human Services and Social Justice from the George Washington University. She has worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the American Heart Association where her team orchestrated three successful Boston Heart Walk events, each raising over one million dollars and drawing in 10,000 community members. In April 2019 she began her current role as Health Equity Specialist at Boston Scientific. She is passionate about building healthier communities and enabling people to live healthier lives!
