Three-Event Series Kicks Off April 15, 2026

[Boston, MA – January 20, 2026] Mass Innovation Nights (MIN), the Boston region’s original grassroots new product launch party, is officially relaunching in partnership with the Museum of Science, marking a new chapter for one of Massachusetts’ longest-running innovation community events. The first of three events in the 2026 series will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Museum of Science.

Founded in 2009, Mass Innovation Nights built its reputation as a monthly new product launch party bringing together founders, investors, and the local innovation community to drive visibility for new products. Over the years, MIN hosted more than 130 events at various locations around the Boston area, including its 100th event at the Museum of Science in 2018. It expanded into Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine. The organization helped launch more than 1,500 new products and supported startups that received more than $4 billion in funding. The organization’s social media amplification program helped drive up to three million views monthly.

Like many in-person events, Mass Innovation Nights paused programming during the COVID-19 pandemic while continuing to support the local community with a weekly newsletter and social media amplification. The 2026 relaunch marks a return to in-person showcases, responding to continued demand from the innovation ecosystem for meaningful face-to-face connection.

“Mass Innovation Nights has always been about creating visibility and momentum for startups,” said Bobbie Carlton, founder, Innovation Nights. “Partnering with the Museum of Science allows us to bring that mission into one of the most iconic spaces for learning and discovery in Massachusetts. This relaunch honors our community roots and opens the door to a new generation of startups and supporters. We’re looking for the best and brightest new local products to feature at our upcoming events.”

“As we celebrate our Year of Revolutionary Science, the Museum is thrilled to partner with Mass Innovation Nights as part of our SubSpace Winter/Spring season of adult programming. The relaunch of these impactful evenings will transform the Museum into a dynamic platform for bold ideas, boundary-breaking innovation, and meaningful connection,” said James Monroe, Creative Director, Museum of Science.

Mass Innovation Nights events feature tabletop demos and presentations from local startups, along with extensive networking opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to share their discoveries across social media, helping amplify new ideas far beyond the event walls.

The relaunch event is free with pre-registration on the Museum’s website and open to adults 18+ as part of the Museum’s Innovation programming. Additional dates will be announced later this year. Interested startups can apply on the Mass Innovation Nights website.
