What if talking about your work in a networking conversation didn’t feel like selling yourself?
You’ve led complex projects, honed your skills, and mentored others. But, when it’s time to talk about your work in a networking conversation, you undersell, get lost in details, or list tasks instead of impact. Meanwhile, colleagues with fewer contributions seem to have cracked a code you’re still troubleshooting. In this workshop, you’ll develop a networking pitch that accurately reflects the impact you’ve had without inflation, personal branding buzz, or anything that makes you cringe. Using a structured framework, you’ll craft language that feels truthful, values-aligned, and genuinely yours. Then, you’ll practice out loud in small group practice rounds, with time to iterate based on real feedback from peers who get it. You’ll leave with a pitch that’s ready to use and a process you can return to every time your role or goals shift. Facilitated by Dr. Jenn Felsted-Knight, a former neuroscientist and certified professional coach who specializes in career advancement and leadership development for women in STEM.
