Bureh Belts

Bureh handmakes belts from traditional fabrics and recycled metals, all in Sierra Leone. These fun, bright, colorful belts are not only great statement pieces but come with an incredible story and social mission.
Each step of the production process is designed to make a difference, by supporting local entrepreneurs and craftsmen. We source our materials from local businesses, supporting their efforts. We train workshops of blacksmiths and tailors to convert the materials into belts, helping their workshops grow. Finally, on the back end, we plan to reinvest half of all profits into start-ups in Sierra Leone.
