A line out the door for Mass Innovation Nights 140 at the Museum of ScienceThe rumors are true – in-person Mass Innovation Nights are back. On April 15, 2026, we kicked off a new era of Mass Innovation Nights (MIN) product launch events. The Museum of Science sponsored and hosted the event, providing the perfect venue for hundreds of old friends and new faces! It was the perfect night for the Boston innovation community to pitch in and support local startups, post to social media about the amazing products they were seeing, and vote for the coolest new products.

A lot has changed about the world – and about social media – since the pandemic forced us to take a hiatus in 2020, but Boston’s entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for new technology and fabulous startups has only grown.

We were so happy to see and hear from so many of you again. We can’t wait to see even more of you for MIN 141 on July 15. Want to attend? Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when tickets become available. Have a great “museum-worthy” product? Submit it here – we’re picking the next round of products soon!

Mass Innovation Nights 140 pitches

Museum of Science Strategic Programs Creative Director James Monroe introduced Mass Innovation Nights founder Bobbie Carlton, who announced the return of in-person Innovation Nights, with at least two more sessions at the Museum of Science coming up July 15, 2026 and an as-of-yet-unscheduled fall event.

She welcomed the evening’s presenters. Four startups, chosen by online voting before the event, pitched and answered questions from the excited and engaged audience.

Social media visibility for our startups

MIN used to mainly boost startup visibility on X (and we still catch ourselves calling it Twitter), but these days our audiences and startups post all over the place! We saw posts on social media from Instagram to LinkedIn and more. Attendees and our team also shared photos and video on Memento – view the folder and share your own photos here.

Here’s some of what we heard about the first in-person MIN since 2020:

“Incredible Innovation Nights last night with a lively crowd. Congrats to Bobbie Carlton for bringing back this important #tech event, and in such an appropriate setting at the Museum of Science. Was great to chat with founders pitching new offerings and catch up with #boston colleagues and friends.”

Independent consultant, ChangeEngine Advisory Network Member and MassChallenge Communications Mentor Brandie Gerrish
