Mass Innovation Nights #133 took place on August 27th via HopIn, and was a rousing success! Thank you to the UMass Lowell Small Business Innovation Research Center of Excellence for sponsoring and (virtually) hosting this event. The new products in the showcase were high-tech products, including robotics, AI, and advanced electronics which can be used by the Department of Defense and others. Each of these companies was eligible to win one of 4 $20,000 grants from UMass Lowell SBIR.

The event started with an introduction from MIN founder Bobbie Carlton, followed by Stacy Swider, the Director of the UML SBIR Center of Excellence. We then had fireside chats with our experts:

We then heard 1-minute elevator pitches from all of the product launchers, followed by featured presentations from the $20,000 grant winners:

And the online vote winners:

There were also breaks for networking, and visits to the virtual expo booths during the show. Special thanks to Bill Sell and the Advisor Communications team for all of their technical expertise in helping our event run so smoothly!
