On April 22nd we had our first ever COMPLETELY VIRTUAL event and it was a huge success! It took place via Introvoke, and was the third time Brandeis University sponsored a Mass Innovation Nights event. Thank you to Brandeis Innovation, Brandeis International Business School, and the Hassenfeld Family Innovation Center for making MIN #132 a (virtual) reality. All of the products that showcased are from Brandeis faculty, staff, students, and alumni. The featured products covered everything from a research-based app that helps people with mental illness succeed in the workplace to a STEM learning program for black women and girls. The event started with “tabletop demos” from all of the featured products, and then a few words from our experts. The experts for the evening were:
- Ian Roy – Director for Research Technology and Innovation in Brandeis University’s Library
- Gene Miller – Director of Socially Responsible Leadership at Brandeis University
- Jordana Goodman – Patent Attorney from Danielson Legal LLC
- Tom Dodge – Founder and CEO of New View Media
- Oana Manolache – Founder and CEO of Introvoke
Presentations from the winners of our online vote (which happened during the month leading up to the event) were heard directly after our experts. You can watch the entire event on Introvoke by clicking here.
