We kicked it off with Accelerate from Wentworth Institute of Technology followed by Babson’s Blank Center for Entrepreneurship, Babson’s FoodSol (for our MIN Foodie #7) and recently Northeastern’s IDEA. What are we talking about? MINs Student Start-Up Spotlight of course. One local college or university is featured each month. The featured college or university is asked to select two start-ups from their entrepreneurship/innovation program that they believe would get the most value out of the MIN experience – whether connections into the innovation community, concept feedback or practice pitching.

Nick Naraghi, CEO of IDEA, Northeastern’s venture accelerator shared his thoughts with us: "Mass Innovation Nights was an invaluable experience for IDEA and the Northeastern University student entrepreneurs that attended. By participating in the Student Start-Up Spotlight, Genius Box and Hydrolite were able to make connections with new customers, potential advisors and investors, and a host of companies that have generously offered to help them free of charge. The constructive feedback and experience of attending alone made it an opportunity we're glad we didn't miss!"
