Hack The Hospital on May 21-23 will explore the potential of 5G and XR technologies being applied to pediatric healthcare and to foster new connections between Barcelona and Boston hubs. Teams will develop innovative projects that can reduce the negative impact of long term pediatric patients experience at the Boston Children’s Hospital and the Sant Joan de Déu children hospital (Barcelona). 2 winner projects will be tested and implemented in both hospitals and will be presenting at the MWC Barcelona 2021. New England high tech companies: Apply for a $20K grant from the UMass Lowell Research Institute Northstar Campus SBIR Center. Eligible companies (i) are operating in New England (ii) have fewer than 30 people (iii) are high tech / tough tech, (iv) have at least 10% DOD business. Innovation to Impact at Yale (I2I) announces an Award Competition for Innovators who are passionate and committed to providing solutions to the marketplace to address Substance Use Disorders. The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech) is now accepting applications for the 2021 Mass Tech Intern Partnership, a program that reimburses qualified companies for hiring Massachusetts students as interns. Eligible Massachusetts businesses of any size may apply for training grants through the Workforce Training Fund’s Express Program.
