Tweet about this product: @_greenlabs aims to make science more sustainable by #recycling pipette tip boxes made out of PP #plastic. Pipette tip boxes are used by almost all research labs and often one-time used and disposed of. Let’s change that.

GreenLabs collects empty pipette tip boxes from research facilities within the Greater Boston area and creates new products by recycling 100% of the plastic.

Life scientists use and dispose of plastic every day. Some plastic used at the bench is recycled, but most of it ends up in the trash. Pipette tip boxes are one of the most prevalent lab-generated plastic waste items. Even if pipette tip boxes make their way to a recycling facility, they are often sorted out into the trash because they are identified as medical waste. GreenLabs is solving this problem by providing a local and cost effective recycling option for research facilities.

GreenLabs is locally owned and operated, driven by our mission to make science sustainable.
