Lowell 3D in the palm of your hand

If one can imagine our world being separated in two places, the real world and the digital world, what would they look like if combined? Augmented reality, the buzz word of combining the real world with an overlay of a digital one on your mobile platform is our mission. Ahead is an exploration of these technologies to create apps where we build virtual worlds and overlay it on the real. Recreating the city of Lowell during the civil war a player will be able to stand in reality and through the looking glass of their mobile device be pulled back in time to that exact location over a hundred years ago. Lowell was the heart of the industrial revolution a transformative era in American history. It was the hub of innovation and the pride of Massachusetts. We plan to return Lowell to its former pride and glory. Manufacturing of goods maybe a lost art in our new urban environment but the manufacturing of virtual goods and places could return that pride to our blue collar town. The experience alone is something our organization is attempting to share with the local public so that they can be a part of bringing history and culture alive in the city.
