If you made it out to #MIN85 last night, we're sure you had a great time. Mass Innovation Nights #85 was our second event sponsored and hosted by the MITRE Corporation, a non-profit organization that operates federally-funded research centers for the government. As before, they were gracious hosts, providing us with an awesome space and great food for our attendees. Did you try the cheese steak eggrolls? Delicious! Maybe you also got a free bottle of juice from Suja? The organic, non-GMO smoothie company was there handing out free samples! #MIN85 was a themed event, and we brought ten companies specializing in cyber security, mobile security, Big Cloud and Big Data to share their innovative new ideas. Tufts University and Wentworth Institute of Technology brought three teams of student-run startups to participate. We also had experts from MITRE available to discuss cyber security and intellectual property rights, as well as other experts in business insurance, venture capital and internet policy. Quite the brainy crew! To top it all off, representatives from the Bedford Chamber of Commerce and the Advanced Cyber Security Center joined us at tables of their own.
