Four years ago we launched a website and offered to throw a product launch party for local companies with new products.  We figured we’d get some of our social media friends to help spread the word, Tweet, Like and maybe post some video and pictures.  Four years later, we found ourselves at the Lansdowne Pub in Boston, doing the same thing, but with a crop of exciting new products.  Big thanks to the team at the Lansdowne Pub for making it all possible!  What great hosts!  Did you like their apps?  (No, not mobile apps but appetizers!)
The goal of Mass Innovation Nights is to help publicize local new products and help support local entrepreneurs.  At the beginning of the night, we heard a great story from MortgageAuction.  This makes all that work worthwhile.  Even before the event, MortgageAuction had 6 people use their mortgage auction service.  These were people who found this new product through our newsletter or through YOUR social media.  Good work team!  Let’s keep it up.
The event itself was a raging success — had lots of great comments about the fun location, right downtown.  We also had a terrific variety of products — alkaline water from Saka, Land of Water, TripChi’s airport support app, the OnGuard cases for your tablet or iPhone, Splitzee collaboration platform, Thinkerdeck’s iPad inspiration tool, cool speakers from Shelldhwani, AppPack’s mobile tools, Dancecard’s mobile networking tool, HelpAroundTown’s neighborhood job board, and MortgageAuction’s site for lenders and mortgage hunters.  Check out some of the tweets captured in Storify.  We also post our videos from the event on our YouTube channel.  Tech Writer Janet posted her epic blog on the event.  Also, Jon Rousell.  Also, check out the video from 30hands Learning Blog.  ThinkerDeck also wrote on the event.  And, we’ll connect to your blog posts, pictures and video too!  Let us know when you post and come back for more later!
Watch for us to post information about our next event soon!
