The essence of Teri’s career has been to implement programs to provide streamline processes and strong support structures to enable researchers to focus on scientific endeavors. Since 2012, Teri architected and implemented, and has since managed, the UMass Lowell shared laboratory program (Core Research Facilities) which provides more than 125 instruments and resources to UMass Lowell faculty, students, other academic, government and industry researchers . The CRF labs are managed and operated by professional staff. The offerings include material characterization, nanofabrication, thermal & mechanical properties, biomolecular characterization & robotic testing facilities. Her prior and current experience includes design and implementation of processes and programs in government property, procurement, contracts and grants management, proposals administration, budget preparation, financial compliance, business planning, educational and community outreach.

Beginning her career at BBN in Cambridge 30 years ago, Teri has created and implemented numerous programs to provide infrastructure and support services for researchers in science, engineering and medical research. Previous employers include Foster Miller, Inc; Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and Tufts Medical Center. She holds a B.A. from UMass Amherst and participated in the graduate management program at Lesley University. She is a member of SBANE, NEIA and ABRF. She has held previous affiliations with NCMA, NPMA, NCURA and SRA.
