Louise Leduc Kennedy is a business attorney and Founder and President of West Hill Technology Counsel, a boutique business and technology law firm. Louise has extensive experience advising companies on strategic and commercial matters relating to the development, marketing and sale of products, services, and software, as well as expertise in intellectual property and on-line business. Prior to forming West Hill, Louise worked as in-house counsel at IBM Corporation. In this role, she advised sales, marketing, and software and business development teams in several corporate divisions. Louise used her IP and contracts expertise as brand counsel for Lotus Notes, and IBM’s first cloud-based enterprise collaboration offering. Before joining IBM, Louise worked in private practice in Boston; her practice focused on complex civil litigation and issues related to discovery of electronic information. Louise speaks regularly on topics of interest to modern businesses, including events sponsored by The Enterprise Center at Salem State University, the Center for Women and Enterprise, the Massachusetts Law Office Management Assistance Program and WordCamp Boston.
