Kim manages Draper’s Space Programs for science, commercial and humanitarian applications. By applying new technological developments to real world challenges as diverse as climate impacts and big data management, she supports Draper in solving important global challenges with innovative solutions.

Kim honed her engineering skills developing scientific research facilities for the International Space Station. Escorting research to Space, and supporting Space missions, she has trained dozens of astronauts and cosmonauts and worked in mission control centers in both the US and internationally. With a breadth of knowledge in space systems, she currently applies this expertise to small satellite programs. With a focus on science, commercial and humanitarian efforts, Kim develops diverse satellite technologies with meaningful global impacts. From robotic servicing vehicles to intelligent image analytics, she has made it her mission to capitalize on space assets to make Earth a better place to live. Kim resides in the Boston area with her three sons.
