Bevin is the BUILD Space Programs Manager responsible for developing and curating the BUILD Space Partner Network, a community excited to explore how digital fabrication and other emerging ideas can be used to inform design and enable future project delivery. She is also responsible for recruiting “BUILDers in Residence”, and in partnership with the BUILD Space operations team, aligning their projects with the capabilities and resources of the facility. Her role also includes collaborating with myriad teams across Autodesk to take full advantage of the resources of the BUILD Space in support of business priorities. Bevin has been a White House intern, a chemist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and a biomedical engineer postdoc in Singapore and Spain. She has received training grants from the NSF and NIH, and holds a patent in diagnostic medical imaging. Prior to joining Autodesk, Bevin was both a researcher and the lab manager with the Biomechatronics Group at the MIT Media Lab. Outside of work, Bevin designed and fabricated a lead-tether when she was a volunteer guide for a blind athlete, has completed a half ironman and two marathons, and is always looking for training buddies – rain, shine, or blizzard.
