Miriam is Vice President, HR, Global Operations for Boston Scientific. Within this role, Miriam is responsible for supporting Boston Scientific’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Global Business Services, Information Technology, Global Quality and support organizations. Miriam provides strategic HR leadership to the organizations she supports while executing the business strategy via alignment of HR initiatives and processes and delivering human capital solutions aligned with performance goals/business objectives.
Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Miriam worked for UCB Pharma, a Belgian owned Global pharmaceutical company where she supported their Irish based Manufacturing and Commercial operations. Miriam started her career with the Irish Business and Employers’ Confederation as an Industrial Relations and Human Resources Executive where she represented a diverse portfolio of companies in all labour and employment matters including employment tribunals and courts. Miriam studied at the University of Limerick where she received an honours degree in Business Studies and French and majored in HR. She has lived and worked in France, the UK, the US and Ireland and has gained great insight from her experience working in these different countries.
