Larry Andrews is the President and CEO of Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC). Andrews and the team at MGCC empower small businesses through financial lending and managerial assistance to create economic opportunities for all. MGCC’s work positively impacts jobs at small businesses, women and minority owned businesses, and promotes economic development in underserved Gateway Cities and low- and moderate-income communities in Massachusetts. MGCC also administers the Small Business Technical Assistance Grant program, which funds the delivery of critical services that foster business development and growth to businesses throughout the state.

Larry has over 35 years of lending and financial experience helping businesses meet their financial goals. He has served businesses throughout Massachusetts in all aspect of business financing, cash management, commercial real estate, business transition planning and financing. He serves as the Co-chair of the Boston Federal Bank Working Cities Capital and Collaboration Small Business Committee, serves as an advisory board member of the Boston Community Loan Fund and also Eastern Bank‘s Business Equity Initiative. In 2018, he was awarded the Massachusetts SBA Financial Services Champion Award. Larry is a graduate of Gordon College with a degree in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business. He is a graduate of the American Banker Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. Andrews is actively involved in a variety other community and professional activities.
