Dean Nelson is a principal with CohnReznick Advisory Group and serves as National Director of its Technology and Digital Services Practice. In this role, he leads a team of IT strategists that advise clients on how to leverage technology to support organizational goals and maximize operational effectiveness. Areas of focus include CIO advisory, data analytics, transformative technology strategy, digital strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, package selection and implementation, and infrastructure services. Prior to joining CohnReznick, Dean served as a managing partner with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he was responsible for building and managing the enterprise strategy practice globally. Areas of focus included top-line business and technology strategy, enterprise cloud strategy, supply chain, IT governance and operating model strategy, and enterprise architecture and the enabling infrastructure. Dean also held partner-level positions at two top-tier global professional services firms, where he was responsible for developing, managing, and growing IT technology practices focused on providing IT strategy, business intelligence, system selection, enterprise risk management, and security assessment services to middle-market clients. For nearly 10 years, Dean served as a managing partner of IT transformation services for a Big Four firm, where he led a $110 million practice focused on providing IT strategy, business intelligence, enterprise integration, enterprise architecture, and system integration services to the Fortune 100 market.
