Mass Innovation Nights #106 brought 10 companies to the UMass Lowell Innovation Hub in Haverhill, MA -- a big thank you to them for hosting us in their great new space! Despite having to postpone the event by a day because of the snow, both turnout and spirits were high. The event was sponsored by the The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission and the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.
Our December event brought Mass Innovation Nights to WeWork's Mass Ave Cambridge location. Despite the dreary weather, hundreds of attendees came and filled the event space to support the innovation community! The event featured 11 new products from a variety of industries ranging from Reina Valentina's online clothing store to Wasabi's cloud based storage service.
Our November event, Mass Innovation Nights 104, brought us back out to Dassault Systemes/SOLIDWORKS in Waltham for another busy and well-attended event featuring 10 great new products from local innovators. The event featured a variety of hardware and software products, from Coalesce.Info's artificial intelligence search engine for business users to eGreen US' Beacon Smart Lamp.
Our fourth annual "Women Founders" event was amazing! What a way to kick off WEBOS (Women Entrepreneurs Boston) week! For the first time ever, WeWork, a hip, innovative coworking space, sponsored and hosted the event at their South Station location. This event was extraordinarily special because it took place across four floors. Guests were able to float between the different themed floors to learn about and network with our product launchers.
Our first FinTech-themed Mass Innovation Nights was a huge success! This event brought us to District Hall in Boston's Seaport District once again. The room was buzzing with over 300 attendees who came to learn about the 13 FinTech startups.
Our first event with MIT was an absolute success! With a breathtaking view of the Boston skyline as our backdrop, we brought together the innovation community and 10 new startups tackling innovation and process improvement.
MIN 100 was nothing short of amazing! Our special 100th event was one of the largest to date, bringing over 600 people to the Museum of Science. Sponsored by Draper's Sembler office, MIN100 featured several space tech companies and 6 Innovation Nights alumni. To spark things up, the event started in the museum's Theater of Electricity.
Mass Innovation Nights #99 was a smashing success! Our first event in the Greater Grove Hall area brought supporters of innovation to the Thelma D Burns Building to learn more about the 14 new startups showcasing. Sponsored by Greater Grove Hall Main Streets, #MIN99 featured all African-American and African tech founders. 14 companies showcased their innovative products alongside an enthusiastic group of experts. There was so much local interest and support for the event and product launchers that we featured!
Our third event at MITRE was a huge success! The line was out the door to attend Mass Innovation Nights 98 last night at MITRE in Bedford. Attendees enjoyed the beautiful and spacious event hall of our host and sponsor MITRE, a not-for-profit corporation that runs research and development centers for the federal government. While munching on the delicious food provided by our host, event-goers networked with 11 innovative new startups with products in the IoT space.
Last night's event, our 97th, was bustling with attendees, startups and robots! Hosted at the spectacular Innovation and Design Building in Boston's Seaport District and sponsored by MassTLC, MassRobotics and Amazon Robotics, #MIN97 featured products from 10 startups. We had robots specializing in factory inventory management, housecleaning, and yard work!
