Mass Innovation Nights #99: African-American & African Tech Founders

Mass Innovation Nights #99 was a smashing success! Our first event in the Greater Grove Hall area brought supporters of innovation to the Thelma D Burns Building to learn more about the 14 new startups showcasing. Sponsored by Greater Grove Hall Main Streets, #MIN99 featured all African-American and African tech founders. 14 companies showcased their innovative products alongside an enthusiastic group of experts. There was so much local interest and support for the event and product launchers that we featured!

Mass Innovation Nights #92 - Ed Tech

Our first ever education technology event last night was quite the success. We launched 12 innovative #edtech startups at the impressive US Headquarters of Dassault Systemes. If you didn't know what Dassault was until our event, we're sure you were impressed with their demonstration during the presentation portion of the evening. They create all types of cool and useful 3D technology. Their HQ is also the site of SOLIDWORKS, a software company that produces CAD and CAE programs who sponsored our event.

Mass Innovation Nights #91 - Women Founders

Mass Innovation Nights #91 - Women Founders was our annual event featuring women startups, and wow, was it a blast! If you didn't attend, not only did you miss out on meeting 13 incredible female-founded startups, but you also missed the mayor! That's right, THE MAYOR. Marty Walsh made a surprise visit to our event at District Hall to kick off WE BOS Week, the City of Boston's official week-long series of events aimed at increasing opportunities for women in business.

Mass Innovation Nights #87 - Bullhorn

The 17th floor of 100 Summer Street was jammin' last night. When we were not looking out the windows admiring the gorgeous views (#envious), we were busy networking with the many attendees who came out for MIN #87. Thank you Bullhorn for a great night of innovation! We were honored to be one of Bullhorn's first "public" events to showcase their cool, new headquarters. We had several experts on hand from Bullhorn, ready to share their knowledge on topics ranging from business development to product management to sales engineering.

Mass Innovation Nights #85: MITRE

If you made it out to #MIN85 last night, we're sure you had a great time. Mass Innovation Nights #85 was our second event sponsored and hosted by the MITRE Corporation, a non-profit organization that operates federally-funded research centers for the government. As before, they were gracious hosts, providing us with an awesome space and great food for our attendees. Did you try the cheese steak eggrolls? Delicious! Maybe you also got a free bottle of juice from Suja?

Mass Innovation Nights #84: Civic Tech

Last night's Civic Tech event was a huge hit! The goal of the night was to bring exposure to up-and-coming startups aiming to solve an issue in the civic space. Not only were we trending on twitter, but we had an excellent turnout and lots of enthusiam for the products. The event brought together all facets of the civic tech ecosystem, from the big players like our sponsor Microsoft New England, to the grassroots participants like our featured startups, to the Massachusetts government.

Mass Innovation Nights 73 - The Four locations Experiment

What? Hold Mass Innovation Nights #73 in four different locations?  Live stream it via Google Hangouts on-air. Sure, why not?

Well, the reality is, our community wants to talk to each other.  They want to "commune."  They want to talk live with the person in front of them.  They want to touch a product, shake hands with the entrepreneur and give a hug to an old friend.

MIN68 at Constant Contact's SMB InnoLoft

Huge shoutout to the awesome team at Constant Contact's Small Business InnoLoft for their hosting and sponsoring of Mass Innovation Nights #68.  They throw quite a party and we had some amazingly cool startups to celebrate.  We also got to hear about the AMAZING opportunity, the Small Business Innovation Program, a first-of-its-kind accelerator.  Apply now to be one of the chosen -- free workspace, mentoring, $10,000 to spend on marketing.  You don't have to give up any equity in your company; you just have to be able to help small businesses.
