Orbeus

Orbeus is a computer vision company that helps computers see like human beings. Orbeus has developed an advanced computer visual recognition engine that combines facial, product/logo, scene and text recognition. On a very high level, we take media content (video and images) as input and our engine automatically produces metadata around the content provided. The metadata could be as detail as the product model of a watch that showed up in the video, or as high level as the scene setting of the picture’s background. We help social networks to understand better about what their users are uploading, so they could better engage with their users through delivering more engaging content, or more relevant advertisement. We use our proprietary cloud computing infrastructure to bring those functionalities together in a fully automatic, consistent and speedy fashion. Our team consists of computer vision PhDs specialized in image processing with over 20 years of combined experience as well as strong management team with Wall Street experiences.
