Mr. McLaughlin is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on:

choice of entity and structuring issues
capital-raising
angel financing
venture capital and private equity transactions
securities compliance
mergers, acquisitions and dispositions

Neil McLaughlin has practiced for over twenty-five years, including at such leading national law firms as Kirkland & Ellis, Proskauer Rose, and Goodwin Procter (where he was a partner in the corporate department). Mr. McLaughlin represents both start-ups and early stage entities in connection with capital-raising and operational activities and private equity investors making growth equity investments. He has represented start-ups and early-stage companies in the materials sciences, information technology, communications, and consumer products and experience industries. In addition, Mr. McLaughlin has had a leadership role in over $5 billion in M&A and Private Equity deals across a broad range of industries including IT services, business services, telecommunications, consumer products and services; and manufacturing. Neil earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law (cum laude), his MSPA from the University of Massachusetts - Boston, and his undergraduate degree from Connecticut College.
