New location.  New friends. And a whole bunch of cool new products!  (And cake.)  Our third anniversary was stellar, a beautiful night courtesy of the Merrimack Valley Sandbox and the City of Lowell, hosted by the gorgeous Appleton Mills with wifi courtesy of Comcast -- talk about a collaboration made in...Lowell! (So much thanks due to Theresa Park -- extraordinary partner.)

Why We Support Product Launches

While Mass Innovation Nights is often chock full of startups launching new products, our mission is not exclusively startup focused.  IBM has launched six products with us, Intuit launched a product with us, Acquia, Brainshark, Continuum, LogMeIn, Percussion, VideoLink, and the Company formerly known as Novell launched two products with us.  These companies are far from startups.
This is confusing to some people.  ("Hey, that isn't a startup!")

Welcome to Innovation Nights

Over the past two years, Mass Innovation Nights has helped to support the launch of more than 250 new products in the Boston region.  Everything from gourmet dog food to iPhone apps to enterprise software to medical devices and inventions has gone through the "MIN" process -- crowd sourced promotion of a single night event where local social media mavens help generate visibility for new products.  Collectively we've generated hundreds of tweets, blog posts, posted videos, pictures and status updates.

#MIN28 Follow up

Thanks to all of you who ventured out to Concord for our July Innovation Night event! Special thanks to Isabella Products and the Wheelhouse for hosting us. We’ll be posting links to your #MIN28 Tweets, blog posts, and pictures soon.  Meanwhile, can you find yourself in the crowd here?  We’ll be contacting the winner of the Edible Arrangements New England gift certificate and announcing that in Monday’s newsletter.

August 2011 Foodie Followup

The Second Annual Mass Innovation Nights Foodie was an unqualified success!
As background, the foodie event isn't just food.  It is innovation related to food.  This week the IBM Innovation Center contained  everything from dipped fruit to whoopie pies, water filters to websites, coffee brewers to tomato growing kits, from sauces and chocolate to a new foodie magazine and a kit for grilling pizza.  And a couple hundred smartphone toting foodies.  Were you there too?
