MIN63 at Autodesk

Thanks to our friends at Autodesk for hosting our June event!  What a terrific team and a fantastic location, conveniently located along 128/95.  They also provided yummies to keep tummies from grumbling!  Nicely done!  Hope to see you all again real soon.

Our community had a great time checking out all the cool new products...and Autodesk's nifty lobby showcasing many of their products.  I loved the airport design and the model city.

Our American Airlines Business Extra points winners were:

PowerHydrant (2000)
TicketZen (2000)
GearCommons (2000)

5th Anniversary at MIN61

The 5th anniversary of Mass Innovation nights was a blast! Our 61st event launched 10 great products with the help of an energetic crowd in Lowell, Mass. The Merrimack Valley Sandbox graciously offered their space to us as we munched on delicious egg rolls and created buzz around the new ideas happening there. We also found out that @BobbieC cuts a mean celebratory cake!

5 Reasons to Come to #MIN61 Tomorrow

Learn about what’s happening in Lowell

Lowell, Mass. is a vibrant and growing community, with a GREAT innovation scene! It’s worth a trip just to connect with the Merrimack Valley Sandbox - but that’s definitely not all that’s happening in this up-and-coming city.  It’s got arts, food, tech, and plenty of entrepreneurs and early adopters to spice up our monthly MIN event.

MIN 60 Roundup

The Microsoft New England Research and Development (NERD) Center hosted our 60th event and a terrific group of our community came out to help lanch 10 great new products! In spite of rain, and a threat of overnight snow and freezing weather, we had a packed house.  We collected our tweets here and the videos here.  Can you find yourself?  Share your posts about the event and we'll link to you!

Our presenters for evening, voted on by you were:

Mass Innovation Nights Foodie at Le Cordon Bleu

Sponsored by our friends from the North, the Canadian Consulate General, and hosted at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, our sixth special Foodie event was a smashing success -- more elegant than a Mass Innovation Nights had any right to be. With expectations high (yes, we did have to shut down RSVPs early after we exceeded our space limitations), we knew it was going to be a winner of a night. Words can not describe...

Who's a Food NERD?

We're borrowing our blog title from Boston Teawright's Caleb who asked this question when he was presenting his craft tea company at the Microsoft New England Research & Development (NERD) Center.  While NoshOnIt represented the entire breadth and depth of our technology at the event, there is more than one way to be a NERD, and all of the companies, experts and guests could probably display their own brand of nerdiness when it comes to their entrepreneurial venture.  And, heck, when you think about it, we all need technology in some way to support our business venture, whethe

Why We Support Product Launches

While Mass Innovation Nights is often chock full of startups launching new products, our mission is not exclusively startup focused.  IBM has launched six products with us, Intuit launched a product with us, Acquia, Brainshark, Continuum, LogMeIn, Percussion, VideoLink, and the Company formerly known as Novell launched two products with us.  These companies are far from startups.
This is confusing to some people.  ("Hey, that isn't a startup!")
